Adamo describes “Mondiale, meaning “of the world”, suggests a tapestry of flags of the world. But my passion is always textures from the memories of traveling the tiny roadways of Italy and Greece. Textures such as the earth’s rich colors, peeling paint, cracked plaster , a peasant’s worn skin, and my signature -the “majolica” -tiny square decorative tiles, handmade by simple Portuguese artisans, and bridging ancient and modern”.
